HHS developed Healthy People 2020 through a collaborative process that drew on experience and enter across multiple Federal companies, state and local governments, academia, enterprise, group and skilled organizations, and members of the general public. In order to ensure a sturdy system of monitoring and evaluation in addition to authorities transparency and accountability, the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation has designed a Health System Tracking Project. The Health System Tracking Project is a dynamic, web-based device that shows information on key health indicators, compiled from across federal sources, along with descriptions of the measures and links to information sources. Good metrics will permit policymakers, providers and the public to watch modifications in health care quality, cost and entry and enable them to grasp the effects of those adjustments throughout the well being care system.
